Life changing apps for people with brain injuries, blind people, deaf people, people with speech difficulties, war veterans and people with adhd and memory problems.

Apps include text to speech app, note taking and voice recording apps for work and school, memory and problem solving games, apps that alert emergency services like police and ambulance of your location if you’ve had a fall or been injured, color coded voice command calendars that include travel times for appointments, sign language apps, live caption apps.

Some of the apps listed are:

Wheel Map app - an app that shows you public places around the world with wheelchair access.

Week calendar - great for people with memory and attention problems, adhd and brain injury. It uses travel times to appointments and color coded calendar appointments.

Voice Access app - control your phone or computer with spoken commands.

Voice 4 U - picture based communication for non verbal people and people with stroke. Cost:$60.

Naming therapy - word finding app. For people with brain injury, memory problems and stroke. Cost: $25.

Matrix Game app - game that helps you build spatial recognition skills, and improve hand eye coordination.

Notability app - helps you voice record your teacher’s lectures, record work meetings, and take notes for work if you have injured hands or memory problems. You can enlarge your notes and record verbal notes in real time. Cost: $10.

Make Change app - helps you give the least amount of money change when buying things.

Learning Ally Link app - audio books on any learning subject, like languages, maths, science, geography, art and history. Highlights spoken text, you can control how fast the text is read out loud, enlarge sentences read out loud.

JAB Talk app - helps non verbal people and stroke patients communicate with people.

Spaced Retrieval app - sends you the answers to questions every few minutes to help your memory. For people with memory problems, stroke, brain injury and adhd.

Red Panic Button app - if you’ve had a fall, are injured or unsafe, press the app. It will send text messages, twitter notifications and emails to your carer, police, ambulance, hospitals etc. with a Google Maps link to your location.

Inspiration Maps - for storing diagrams, charts, and flow charts. For brainstorming. For work, school or writing stories.

Find my phone - this app helps you find your phone if it’s lost or stolen.

Clear Record Pro app - records conversations clearly while deleting background noise. For teaching and studying, for deaf people, people with adhd and learning disabilities. Don’t record conversations illegally.

Dial Safe Pro app - fun games that teach you how to use your mobile phone safely.

ICE medical standard app - puts your name, medical diagnosis, and emergency contact phone numbers if you’re injured or unconscious, or unable to speak. For people with allergies, diabetes, or heart conditions.

Best Suite app - reminds people with brain injuries to set goals, take breaks, and to attend school, work and health appointments.

Behaviour Tracker Pro - helps teachers, therapists and aides track a person’s behaviour and makes graphs of behaviour changes.

Be My Eyes app - an app that allows blind people to point their phone at objects. Sighted volunteers will tell the blind person what the objects are.

There are over six thousand animations to choose from.

You can make animated videos with Explee from your mobile phone, iPad, laptop or computer.

You can use their basic features for seven euros a month.

You can use their professional creative features for twenty five euros a month.

You can use their high range features for ninety nine euros a month.
