Note: I don’t live in the Northern Beaches. I had to drive for more than an hour to get there.

It’s safe to swim in the beaches at the Northern Beaches, as the fires haven’t reached there.

You do need to check with the local rural fire service if it’s safe to swim in the beaches at the South Coast, as firefighters in the South Coast bravely fought the fires there.

You can make gifs (moving pictures) by using gif making apps like Pixaloop to edit your photos on your mobile phone. Pixaloop is available on the App Store for iPhones.

You can pay a small monthly fee of about $5 a month, or a lifetime fee of about $89. Pixaloop can make clouds, water, waves and smoke look as if they’re moving in photos. It also has special effects like moving sunlight spots, stars, butterflies and birds that you can add to your photos to create small and charming moving pictures to watch.
