It's OK to wash your face, neck and arms with soap and water between work outs if too much sweat is making you itchy or uncomfortable. You're not stuffing up by resting and cleaning up yourself before moving on to your next work out.

I'd use a more suitable tag word than update, but Dreamwidth is saying that I need to delete other tag words to do that, and I don't know how.

My subtweets and vague posts and online complaints about people who slander me aren't directed at Lindsay Ellis, Contrapoints, or their friends. God knows I've hurt Lindsay and Contrapoints enough by retweeting stupid false accusations about them without checking my facts in the past, so I don't want to repeat that mistake again.

My subtweets and vague posts are about random strangers on ao3 and reddit and tweeters who I don't know, don't follow (who don't follow me) who take my tweets out of context and post the most bizarre stuff. That is all.

Looks like Twitter is malfunctioning for real and crashing constantly...

Here's the link to a YouTube video of beautiful harp music, sounds of birds singing and river sounds, to help with relaxing, studying, improving focus and concentration, work or white noise to block out noise pollution. :) The video is called Enchanting Forest Music, and it's from the Elvenshine | Unfading Forest YouTube channel. It's very pretty to listen to. I just find it so calming.

Posting photos and videos on Dream Width tends to work if the photos and videos are public. If they're private, they don't always show up.

I find that posting photos is much easier than posting videos, because videos take longer to upload to Dream Width (they can take a few minutes or half an hour, depending on whether you have a fast internet connection and how long the video is). The longer a video is, the longer it takes to upload it to any website, including Dream Width.

Typing in Dream Width isn't so bad, so long as I use a computer (like a chunky desktop one, or a laptop). The font is much larger and easier to read once it gets posted online, though. When I type it in the draft stage, the letters and words are much smaller.

As long as I click on the Rich Text tab while typing, the font (type of lettering/words) is much neater and easier to read than the font in HTML.

My Dream Width profile is nice but pretty long. I'm thinking of shortening it to make it easier to read. But I'm not sure which parts to cut out. It mentions all my interests. I think I'll leave the tag words of my interests alone, but I'm planning to make my profile biography shorter.

How many picture icons do I have? Not many, but enough to be happy with them. They're made by other artists, not by me. You can see which artist made which icon if you go to the icon section of my Dream Width profile.

I like them all, including the ones of characters from the Demon's Lexicon series. Those icons are really beautiful. Plus Sin and Mae are cool. :)

I like the Tamora Pierce quotes icons too. They're from her Tortall adventure fantasy books, which are some of the best Middle Grade books I've ever read. The characters are likeable, and they take good care of each other. Plus they have witty banter, and say and do hilarious stuff.

Oh, and I should add: I'm not white! (Nothing wrong with being white, but I've seen people online guessing that I'm white because of my Dream Width profile picture). I'm not even part white. Unless one of my relatives is right in saying I have a white great grandfather.

The icon picture in my Dream Width profile isn't a picture of me. It's a picture of one of my favourite characters - Mae Crawford, from the Demons Lexicon book series by Sarah Rees Brennan. I'm actually Vietnamese diaspora.

I should add: many adult children are happy to write at a discount or lower wage for relatives! It's just relatives expecting you to write a long biography (the standard length being a whopping 400 pages to get traditionally published) without payment is really, really rude. If I wanted my parents to write a biography for me, I would at least offer to pay them. Because it's hard work! And there's so many biographies out there, that writing one is actually competitive.

The quote, "We all live under the same sky. One sky, one destiny" is from Kingdom Hearts. It's at the top of my Dream Width journal, so I can find Kingdom Hearts fans if they comment on it. :)

I should update my profile! It's out of date, and needs updating.

 OK. I'm back!

Twitter is in a will it/won't it explode state, but until it really does ban free users, I'm over there.

I will be posting about fandom stuff here that twitter friends don't care about, as I don't want to bother them.

I found a part time paid job! And I'm happy with it.

Baby nephew is fine. Still cheeky and very cute.

I managed to get some light housework and cleaning done today, and did recycling.

And...that's it!
