It’s still safe to swim in the beaches at the Northern Beaches in New South Wales. The Australian bushfires haven’t reached there.

Photos taken by me in the Northern Beaches. The Northern Beaches Shire is about a seven hour drive from the South Coast of New South Wales in Australia.

Note: I don’t live in the Northern Beaches. I had to drive for more than an hour to get there.

It’s safe to swim in the beaches at the Northern Beaches, as the fires haven’t reached there.

You do need to check with the local rural fire service if it’s safe to swim in the beaches at the South Coast, as firefighters in the South Coast bravely fought the fires there.
