Dealing with spambots and unwanted spam

Just wanted to let you know on how to deal with unwanted spam bots (people who post 'spam', unwanted messages that were unasked for) in livejournal. Put your mouse arrow over the person's name/username. A box with the words report spam bot and ban user will appear. Click on report spam bot once to submit a report to livejournal that you suspect that person is spamming your livejournal blog or message inbox.
I've been getting spam for a long time (and I'm sure other people do too) received a spam message from the username ifimenko stating, "Make dollars just sitting home."
Spam is unwanted, rude and annoying. Hope this advice makes someone's day easier, at least. :)
