I’ve been watching YouTube videos and reading online articles on how to clean your house naturally. www.thekitchn.com and the Wiki How website has great tips on cleaning with natural and affordable products. Please note: I’m not a cleaner and I’m not affiliated with these websites. I’m just posting my own personal opinions here.
You can clean your oven by using lemon juice and baking sofa together. It’s gentle on your oven and the lemon juice smells great. 🙂 Just remember to wipe the oven again with water afterwards, and any grease or food particles should come off much more easily.
I’ve also used an acidic cleaner like lemon juice or vinegar mixed with baking soda (plus a bit of dishwashing liquid), and it’s great for cleaning dirty dishes. The baking soda prevents the acid in lemon juice or vinegar from eating through the dishes and the lemon juice acts as a disinfectant. I’ve found that using baking soda mixed with vinegar can leave my dishes sparkling clean. If you have sensitive skill then please wear gloves as baking soda can be harsh on sensitive skin. Lemon juice also stings cuts and wounds, so putting bandaids or bandages on cuts and wearing gloves is a must if you have cuts on your hands or arms.
I’ve tried using vinegar (both apple cider vinegar and white vinegar), and they work wonders as disinfectants and in removing mould from bathroom walls. I was amazed and so pleased the first time I soaked a sponge in vinegar and used the vinegar for removing mould. It’s good to keep the bathroom window slightly open to ventilate the room and prevent mould from forming. Mould can form where there’s excess moisture and no ventilation of fresh air.
