Information from silent pirate's post from lj community advocates:
Beth is a young artist who recently released her first music album. She is a survivor of childhood abuse. Beth has fought against eating disorders and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. On top of that, she been diagnosed with DID(Dissociative Personality Disorder)/MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder).
In the next few days, Beth will be arriving in Pennsylvania, USA to start receiving medical treatment. She seriously needs funds to cover her medical costs. Unfortunately, very few donations have been received. Since silent_pirate's post on 15 June 2009, the donations can't even pay for one day of treatment.
silent_pirate has made prints of Set Me Free available for buying. All proceeds will be sent to Beth's medical fund.
Please consider either buying a print, or donating directly to the fund. For more information, please contact silent_pirate at thesilent@rocketmail.com or comment on her post at http://community.livejournal.com/advocates/79167.html.
Please pass on this message if you can't donate. Thanks so much if you do choose to help in some way.
