You can order a small container or large container of their delicious tartare sauce, which goes very well with the fish.
The Boatshed restaurant in Batemans Bay serves delicious meals and their prices are affordable (from $10 to $25 I think).
It’s near the Golden Dragon Chinese restaurant and the shopping arcade in Batemans Bay, Australia. The Boatshed also runs popular one day lunch cruises on the river on their traditional boats, nearly everyday.
Their river lunch cruises start at 11:30am each day, and you need to arrive there at about 11am to get there on time and avoid missing the boat leaving the river dock. You can either book a seat on the boat cruise or turn up without a booking on the day. 🙂
After my seafood dinner, I took photos of Christmas lights on trees lining the roads at the shops in Batemans Bay. The lights are small and lovely, and grow more beautiful as the night sky darkens.
I also enjoyed eating a chocolate fudge, vanilla and orange flavoured ice cream at the small and comfortable ice cream cafe in Batemans Bay. There was a young couple, some families with talkative cute children and some tourists enjoying ice cream nearby, but I didn’t take photos of them as I wasn’t sure if they wanted to be photographed. 🙂😊 I definitely recommend going to the Boatshed or the ice cream cafe in Batemans Bay if you get the chance - the food tastes amazing and the prices are affordable, plus you get a stunning view of boats sailing along the river.
