Say no to trigger in US health care reform
Sep. 6th, 2009 09:25 amHey everyone,
Say no to the trigger, and send on the news to people to stop the trigger in its tracks here:

Not having a public health option in health insurance can lead to health care costs swelling to a terrifying rate. It would cause a huge drop in people in the workforce (due to the number of people becoming sick or dying from lack of affordable healthcare). Not to mention the ensuing toll on lives and quality of life. It can lead to people struggling to pay the bills, keep their livelihoods and homes (due to taking time off work and being unable to pay for health care).
The cost in not having a public option in health care insurance is too high.

Recent news reports are saying that White House negotiators are considering a public option "trigger" in health care reform—a favorite idea of conservatives that would postpone the public health insurance option for years or eliminate it entirely.1
We can't afford to wait for real health care reform. Can you submit a comment on the White House comment page urging President Obama to say no to the "trigger"?
