Hey there all,
I came across lalucky's post in lj community advocates today. She's a student at the University of Florida. Her post says that in just a bit more than a week she'll be taking part and volunteering at a sleepaway camp. This camp is for kids whose parents have cancer or have died from cancer. The fantastic thing about the camp is that it's free for the kids, since their parents have financial millstones (from hospital bills, medicine and other costs).
Because the camp is free, the sleepaway camp needs heaps of fundraising. If you want to donate anything, that would be greatly appreciated (even a tiny amount). Keep donations rolling in and spread the word, so that the camp stays free and open for kids. Thanks so much!
