Hmm, it's been so long since I read Un Lun Dun that I can't exactly remember who the characters are. Maybe I should remedy that.
I think having a birdcage as a head is quite acceptable behaviour in Unlondon, though. I doubt he'd like it if someone tried to knock it off, but then, you wouldn't like it if someone tried to knock your head off either... ;)
Ooooh, a Discworld movie? It looks great. :o It's good that they seem to realise that Discworld isn't WACKY!!! (the way that other adaptations have tried to make it), the humour is pretty understated and comes from the fact that things there almost makes sense, just not the kind of sense you're used to. I love the guy they got playing the Patrician - the man is SCARY. 0_0;
Philip Quast is the best, I have his rendition of "Stars" on my favourite playlist. :) And "Confrontation" is very cool - I love how the two of them end up basically just screaming at each other, neither one listening to the other, because their perspectives are just too fundamentally different that they can't understand each other at all. A very nice summary of both the characters and their relationship. ;)
