My favourite quotes:
-"I'm glad you asked, though. Asking is sexy." - Kami Glass, from Untold. Book Two of Sarah Rees Brennan's Lynburn Legacy Trilogy (Books one and two are already out!). Kamisays this before when one of the male leads asks if she wants to be kissed. It was so nice and funny. :) It's SO refreshing that the lead asks if he can kiss, instead of just forcing a kiss *glares at other novels*
-"Maybe I will indicate I have one feeling. Once a year." - Angela Montgomery,
from Sarah Rees Brennan's Untold. OH ANGELA. I love your snark and hilarity! Never change. XD
-The part in Tamora Pierce's Trickster's Choice duology where Nawat Crow gives Aly a shiny rock. I love how she's so tired and and is all WHY DID YOU GIVE ME THIS? and Nawat tells her cheerfully, "It is sparkly. Females like sparkly things." And then Aly totally wants to facepalm. Females like sparklies? Female crows, maybe. XD It depends on the female human. Seeing what the Kyprish/Copper isles citizens wear, it seems like *everyone* loves sparkly things (jewellery and clothes), not just the women.
