I just returned from my one week to New Zealand with a very old friend of mine. I haven't had much time to keep in touch online as I have been on the go by travelling via 3 different Lord of the Rings tours. New Zealand is a gorgeous country with very open and friendly people. You are always a few hours from the beach at the most, with rolling hills and mountains, and farms close by. The food is fantastic (fresh produce with unique combinations that nearly always work) and there is plenty of culture and history. I will post more on my trip later.
